It has been made known to me for a long time that UAE is a place， both mysterious and rich， with fascinating landscape in the backdrop of desert and sea. What on earth does it looks like？ This journey allowed me to look back its history， feast my eyes on Jumeirah Beach Resort， and feel the modernization in a shark contrast to its tradition. I remained convinced that the pearl in the Gulf has been built to last.
Seaside Abu Dhabi
Just like an Arabian gentlemen walking in the desert， Abu Dhabi keeps its low profile and remains mysterious. Although it has lived through a long history， it seems to be in its puberty， vigorous and unfathomable.
Initial Impression
With the flight landing on Abu Dhabi International Airport at 630AM， the glittering sea water and golden desert greeted us. The winding roads go through extensive desert like flying ribbons. In early September， the city is in midsummer as opposed to those characterized by temperate continental climate， where cool autumn can be felt. Hot air makes your all pores open， and exposes you to passion and charm of the Arabian country. Landscape teeming with exotic sound and sight enhances your pleasure.
Newly artificial peninsular features sea of skyscrapers amidst water and white sand. Lawn and shade trees at both sides of streets absorbs some heat from sea wind. Mosques at all sizes can be seen by road every 200 to 300 meters， always reminding you of its ancient civilization. The city， a combination of the old and modern， seems to be able to bewitch newcomers.

Luxury is maybe suitable to interpret hotels in UAE than those in other countries. I was amazed at their fantastic luxury and considerate service， which I never experienced at other hotels， and contented unprecedentedly in terms of visibility and sensibility.

Located at the commercial downtown of Abu Dhabi， the hotel which occupies large spacious area in the backdrop of extensive palm grove， features classic Arabian palace architecture， and looks like a huge desert sand palace from far， with domes in all sizes highlighting their Arabian style， and reminding of palaces in the legend of Ali Baba. The Palace embraces nearly 1，000-meter-long golden coastline， and is within a stone’s throw away from UAE’s presidential building.
